My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Reggie
Age: 6 years
Breed: Italian Greyhound
Gender: Male
Weight: 13 pounds
Neutered: yes
Vaccines: yes
Other dogs: yes
Cats: yes
Kids: no
Housebroken: yes

This sweet little guy is Reggie. Don't let this grey muzzle fool you, he is only 6 years old (we have his dob) and very spry. He does fine with dogs and cats but generally just prefers to be with his people under the blankets. He is a very shy guy at first and will nip when cornered. For this reason, we are not recommending that he be aroind children. If you have visiting nieces/nephews/grandchildren, Reggie will need some crate time away from them. However, it does not take too long for Reggie to trust you and once you are in his "club", you are golden.

He is a very typical representative of his breed. Housebreaking is going fine, but in this cold weather he may "protest" going outside. Anyone that has owned an Italian Greyhound has experienced this. We are requiring that any potential adopters have breed experience to adopt him. We may consider whippet, greyhound, or other sighthound experience, too.
