Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bart is an energetic and playful little guy. He is a 12 pound black and tan Minature Pinscher mix who is under 2 years old. Bart is a little skittish when he first meets new people. He needs time to warm up, but in time he will be curled up in your lap.
Bart came to us with some Chihuahua’s and another MinPin who were all rescued from a hoarding situation. There were many others taken from this house as well. The dogs were well treated, there were just too many of them for the people to handle and properly care for. Bart is just getting used to being on a leash so he needs a fenced yard until he is more comfortable on a leash. Bart needs another dog in his home that is social and outgoing so he can learn from them. He will bond quickly to the other dog because he loves to play and because of his background he gets along with all other dogs. He would prefer a quiet home with patient people who will give him the time he needs to trust them and feel comfortable in his new home. Your loving patience will be rewarded with a lifelong buddy.
Bart is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped and heartworm tested. Bart is housetrained, even though he is not a fan of the cold winter weather.
