Facts about Frankie

  • Breed: Australian Cattle Dog Mix
  • Color: Black - With White
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Frankie was found in the woods in great pain and unable to walk. At only 8 weeks of age he had been attacked by other dogs and left in the woods. Taken to a veterinary clinic his wounds were tended and he has grown friendly and loving in a great foster home. He gets along well with other dogs and is cat friendly. Frankie is about 15 weeks old, is gentle, friendly and playful His startlingly blue eyes probably speak to Australian shepherd ancestry and perhaps mixed with cattle dog. Frankie is likely to be a bigger dog, at least 50 lbs as an adult .He is leash and crate trained, has been neutered and is up to date on all vaccinations. Frankie is looking for a loving forever home.

About Hickman Humane Society

About Our Rescue Group...

Our mission and focus is to benefit the lives of the animals and people in our county by providing for the humane treatment of pets thru foster care, appropriate medical care, rehabilitation of pets, comprehensive adoption coordination, consistent spay/neuter funding programs and public education with a goal of reducing the homeless pet population, irresponsible breeding and the prevention of cruelty and neglect to animals.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Since ALL of our funding is from donations (we are not supported by a government agency), fundraising and a few spay/neuter grants, we always need monetary donations and food and supply donations including straw and bedding material. With winter coming we could really use some more dog houses and tarps (used is welcome). Used crates are also always needed. Pick up can be arranged within a reasonable distance. Thank you for your support.
