Stanley's Story...
Stanley is looking for a home in St. Louis, Missouri.

Sweet and mellow, Stanley is happy as long as you are near.

We'll never know how this sweet cat wound up homeless. He never stops purring when you are around. How did he survive without love?

Stanley had some rough times as a street cat. He wandered a neighborhood all winter until a kind woman took him in to give him shelter, food and vet care.

It turned out Stanley tests positive for FIV but is very healthy and expected to lead a long, normal life.

All this sweet boy desires is to settle into a warm lap and let the cuddling commence. He deserves a happy ending. Can you help him?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stanley, a St. Louis Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
