**IN VERMONT** Meet Montley aka Angus; more pictures and video to come!
Montley is approx. 7 years old, about 70 lbs., vetted, neutered, and micro-chipped. Montley is good with other dogs and cats. He is a snuggle bug and picks a special person. He gets attached quickly. He knows sit, easy (when on leash), wait, and gives high fives. He loves cheese and mouth clicks. Montley is potty trained and crate trained but does not like the crate; he likes to be with his humans. His current foster home has a ferret and he is curious with her and has mouthed her, but hasn't tried to hurt her. Stay tuned for more information as Montley is a new rescue!
If you are interested in adopting Montley please fill out an Application at www.Passion-4-Paws.org (please make sure you have the Vermont site) thanks!

Disclosure: Breed labels are often incorrect: we rarely know the genetic lineage of the dogs we rescue. Many shelters and rescues specify breeds based on appearance; however, research has shown that less than 2% of a dog’s DNA determines appearance! Passion 4 Paws does not practice the use of labels pertaining to compatibility with others or dog breed. Labels such as “dog friendly” and “child friendly” should be used with caution as they often over-simplify the personalities and behavior of dogs.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
