OJ's Story...

Orange Julius aka O.J. is a little orange mush!  He was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Long Island and though scared at first, OJ has come out of his shell so quickly.  He loves to play and sleeps at the foot of his foster's bed at night.  OJ must be adopted into a home with another young cat or kitten, preferably with his 'sister from another mister' Tilly.  OJ and Tilly became great buddies in the shelter and OJ takes great care of her.  OJ is up to date on shots, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and already neutered.  To meet this precious boy please contact us today or visit him at Petco @ 92nd & Broadway on Saturdays from 2-6pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

OJ, a New York Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in New York, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
