Old English Sheepdog Mix Dog for adoption in Bellingham, Washington - Doc

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Doc's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Doc's Story...
This big ol shaggy boy is Doc and he is looking for a herding breed experienced home. He is a great dog with a stubborn side and will need to be signed up for positive reward based training. This will help him bond with his new person, learn manners and continue his socialization. He is not awful with dogs but definitely should be the only dog in his new home. A home with no children is preferred due to his herding and protective nature. No cats in the home either.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Doc, a Bellingham Old English Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Old English Sheepdog for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Old English Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Old English Sheepdog breeders who help with Old English Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
