Awesome is the word that comes to mind when we speak about this boy. He is ROCKY a gorgeous purebred Weimaraner. Bocky is 3yrs old, and has the most wonderful temperament and beautiful features. Rocky is blessed with stunning good looks, soulful eyes that just melt your heart his eyes are unique it looks like he has eye liner all around just beautiful.
Rocky`s story )))) Rocky hasn't always had the life he has with us today, In fact his first 2.5 years were harsh, Rocky was chained up the entire time by his owners who eventually vacated the home in Alabama leaving Rocky still chained, A neighbor took him in and called us, We arranged his transport from Alabama and he is with us at our Florida base, When Rocky arrived he was underweight and scared, It took him a while to realize he could run free and initially took very small steps, Today Rocky has so much confidence he runs and plays all day he has a beautiful Weimaraner prance, Getting Rocky to come into the house was an ordeal in the first few days now he is in and out all day. Despite his first years this boy is a true lover not an ounce of aggression and he just loves to have hugs and snuggle with you on the sofa if you stop he will give you his paw or put his head sideways on you. We are committed to getting Rocky everything he needs in his new loving home, Rocky is now up to weight approx 70lb. 70lb of pure love, You can hug this boy all day, He has a wonderful temperament he is playful and gets along with all the others. Rocky is our happy boy you will always see him smiling his teeth are not the greatest they are worn down from biting his chain or eating whatever he could find. He also has 2 scars on his back legs they are fading a result of him laying on a hard surface, He has become somewhat of a dancer when its food time he can get a little crazy while waiting for his bowl this will most likely cease in a quieter setting than here, Rocky is a good boy I cant think of anything negative to say about him, Apart from the fact he will cower a little at loud noises or if you yell.

We are now searching for a wonderful WEIMARANER forever home for Rocky A family that will love and cherish this boy as much as we do A home that will give him stability and security he needs Rocky has Excelled in the time he has been with us he is certainly a favorite. Rocky is so lovable he deserves a family that will give him the love and attention he needs. He loves to be around humans. Rocky loves everyone but we say no Cats. He is energetic, fun and playful. Rocky is house trained he will go to the door when he needs potty at the moment our door is open all the time, He is intelligent and smart and will easily pick up your routine. We are looking for a family that is home most of the day He is a typical Weim that dosent like to be left alone for hours on end he has already been subjected to that aspect, We are looking for a family that has time to invest in him. We do not crate any of our dogs and crating Rocky would be a disaster so we are looking for a family that will not crate him. Rocky has grown to love home comforts, At night time he will sleep on a sofa or a bed however he just loves to sleep on your bed he loves to be close to his humans. its so hard not to fall in love with this boy. He definitely needs a home with a FENCED in yard he loves to run free, He is great with all other dogs and he would like a companion around his own age and size he would love someone to chase but someone that is not over dominant or that will suppress Rockys personality. A female would be good. Lots of things are new to Rocky so you may see him a little scared at first but he quickly warms up, We don't place our rescue Weims with small children or toddlers not because they are not good with children but because Weimaraners need a lot of attention. Rocky is Neutered, current on all vaccinations heartworm Negative and he is micro.chipped. He is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to run outdoors and relax with you in the home. We are looking for a forever home that can cherish him and give him the love and attention he needs, A family that is really stable and can give him that forever home that means forever. We don't want to ever find this boy back in rescue. A family that will include him in their lifestyle and activities. Rocky will only get better with the right interaction.
