Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Buddy is a handsome American Staffordshire Terrier mixed breed with the ears of Bull Terrier. He surrendered himself as a stray to a local business who was kind and caring enough to take him in and try to find his owner. After much advertisement, no one has come forward to claim him and then JCAPL took him in. He was too underweight at first, for him to be neutered, but once he got into a foster home he has gained weight and filled out nicely.
It turns out Buddy is a lover boy and loves to cuddle when given a chance, he thinks he's a 62# lap dog. He is dog, and kid social and seems indifferent to cats, but isn't being fostered with one, so we are not completely sure about that.
Buddy is crate and house trained, but we are still working on leash training!
Are you interested in adopting Buddy or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.
Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524, or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
