Porter's Story...
This little boy was born into rescue when his mother arrived. He was born on 10/27/16. He is wormed and has age appropriate vaccinations. The rescue will require that you return with your puppy to our vet for neuter, microchipping and rabies vaccination - at the cost of the rescue. He will go home with 3 months of flea/tick/heartworm preventative. You must fill out an application and be approved setting up a meeting with the puppy. We believe he will be approximately 40 lbs. when he reaches his growth potential. If he listed online - he is available. Visit our website at for an application and instructions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Porter, a Greensboro Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
