Sage is one of those lucky girls who’s got looks and smarts. She’s a head-turner, but she never quite knows what to do with the attention she gets when she’s out on the town. She’s much more comfortable when she’s at home snuggling with her friends. She can be pretty discerning when it comes to the human and dog friends she makes. Once she figures you out, she’ll be perfectly happy to give you endless amounts of love - especially if you’ve got some frozen treats she can munch on! Currently, Sage spends a lot of her time hanging out in our office, where she enjoys snoozing and cuddling with her doggie friends, she'll even share her toys with them. Come meet this beautiful girl today! The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.</p>

About Animal Farm Foundation

About Our Rescue Group...

Adoptapet.com requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Since visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable we have decided to no longer advertise our dogs on Adoptapet's website. All of our available dog are listed on our website at http://www.animalfarmfoundation.org/pages/Available-Dogs. Animal Farm Foundation gets to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Located in Dutchess County NY, AFF has been working nationally to secure equal treatment and opportunity for “pit bull” dogs since 1985.

OUR ORGANIZATION
Animal Farm Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation, has been rescuing and re-homing animals, as well as making grants to other humane organizations, since the mid-1980's.

We currently dedicate our resources to securing equal treatment and opportunity for "pit bull" dogs. Whether the dog is called a "pit bull" because of a documented pedigree, or merely on the basis of physical appearance, recognizing that these dogs are individuals for whom we are responsible is an integral step toward a compassionate future for all dogs.
