My story

This handsome yellow lab is Peanut! He is 8 years young and came to us from a rural shelter (his owner had passed away sadly and there was no one to care for him). He is a little new to our rescue group but so far his foster said he is doing very nice with his house manners. So much so - he doesn't even crate him and no potty accidents either! Housebroken it appears. He walks on leash quite nicely too! As he is a Senior Dog he is eligible for our Senior for Senior Program that is runni...ng through the end of February (anyone 55 and older that adopts one of our senior dogs will have the adoption fee dropped to $ 55).

Adoption events are every Saturday, excluding holidays, at the Petco located at 11331 W. Broad Street, Glen Allen, VA (next to Trader Joe’s) from 11:00am to 2:00pm.
