Darby is a male mini Goldendoodle mix only 1 year old. He is a big, solid boy currently weighing 22 pounds. His ideal adult weight should be about 30-45 pounds full grown. Darby has been professionally groomed and has a very short haircut right now due to neglect and matting of his gorgeous, creamy light golden coat. His coat will grow out long and luxurious in no time. Darby's gentle waves are super soft and he should be quite stunning once he gains some weight and grows out his coat. Darby is incredibly friendly and warm-hearted. He loves absolutely everyone and is a sweet, uncomplicated dog. He just loves to be loved and is happy with the simplest things. Darby adores spending time with people and has a nicely social personality. He thinks he's a small dog and will crawl into your lap or let you hold him like a baby (if you can). Darby gets along seamlessly with other dogs and is as kind and even tempered as they come. He can be goofy and playful like a puppy, and he can also snuggle up and take a snooze with his humans when its quiet time. He loves to cuddle and be petted. Darby walks easily on leash and rides well in the car. He enjoys being included and will thrive in a home where he can be part of the family. He is a champ at parks or the beach and has a nice amount of energy for longer walks, although he is not hyper in the least. Darby has a real heart of gold and you will fall in love with how innocent and kind he is. He was rescued from a high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. Darby has been vet checked, is very healthy, and is going to make an outstanding pet and companion. He is a special boy and will work his way into your heart before you know it. Darby is ready for his new forever loving home today!
Darby’s adoption donation is $550 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Darby is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Sharon and is ready for his forever home.
