Fang & Flower's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Fang & Flower's Story...
Meet Flower (the one with the bit o' fluff on her head) and Fang, the cute boy! They're between 8-10 years old, and as of now, ready for adoption as a pair.
Hairless are pretty lower maintenance as far as grooming, just need to get their toenails trimmed like any other dog. If they're going to be outside for any period of time, we recommend baby sunscreen.
You can use baby t-shirts (light weight) if there's extended family time outside -- out at the pool enjoying snacks, for example. That way it's not warm like a sweater but gives them some sun production. Some lotion on their skin (something mild, fragrance free) is also good for them ... care is pretty basic, sort of like people skin. Just keep it moisturized and protected from the sun.
They're both a bit soft, shy, gentle, appreciate low energy (i.e. not the dogs for rowdy kids), and they would love to keep part of your couch warm :) Also okay with cats.
Adoption fee for the pair is $250 -- they are neutered / spayed, vaccinated, vet checked, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fang & Flower, a Phoenix Chinese Crested dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chinese Crested for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Chinese Crested dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chinese Crested breeders who help with Chinese Crested rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
