Meet the best brindle Boxer boy, Rudy! Affectionate Rudy is 3 and a half years old is a good sized boy at 80lbs. He is handsome, happy and healthy and such a lovable and active dog. Rudy was originally rescued out high kill north Georgia as a puppy by his foster mom who found him in her metro park. Rudy was transported to Washington three years ago and adopted to a family with lots of children. BUT the adopters moved and left him with their son in Tacoma who now is joining the Marines…SO Rudy now needs to find his truly real (and awesome) forever home. Rudy is super smart and a typical boxer, good with other dogs and he loves to play! He knows his basic commands, but wants an adopter who understands training and is able to follow through with being his leader. His younger owner allowed him to get away with bratty behavior sometimes- so needs you to not allow it! Rudy is energetic, smart and playful. He loves to run and makes an awesome exercise buddy. Rudy is kid, dog and cat friendly and he would love a home with a nice yard and folks who have love and time for him. He is energetic but does settle down nicely in the house and is crate trained and house trained. He loves attention and interaction with people. Rudy has been good at the vet’s and at the groomer. He knows his basic commands and is very social and good on a leash. Rudy is looking forward to daily walks, hikes and trips to the beach. Rudy loves to be attentive to you and even loves being a lap dog. Rudy is neutered, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped. Best Boxer Rudy would benefit from a breed experienced adopter who understands and loves the boxer breed. Rudy is good with cats, and would like his adopter to be a strong leader as he has been a bit “spoiled” the last few months. Rudy is independent, obedient and a pleaser who learns fast. He has spent the last three years with kids ages 6-19. He really enjoys the outdoors and can’t wait to explore hiking in the woods and the beach. He loves to play with you and his toys! He is crate trained, but can be trusted out of his crate, and is totally house trained as well. He is working on his retriever skills too. Beautiful brindle Rudy has the most beautiful eyes and gorgeous brindle coat. Rudy is in foster care in Snohomish with his very adoring foster family and he’s available to meet right away.
