My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

An adoption application on TATER can be found at the following link: http://wp.me/P73YMd-1h
Please email the completed application to kerri.woofriver@gmail.com
Please submit an application AND do NOT also contact the shelter. You will be contacting both the adoption coordinator and the marketing director, who do not see each other's emails. This causes confusion.

TATER is such a great puppy! He turned 9 weeks old on February 2nd, 2017. TATER lives in a foster home where he soaks up wisdom on how to be a good boy from the older and wiser resident dogs. He loves nothing more than playing with his toys then snuggling up for a nap with a person or a pup. He is catching on to potty training quite well and has learned to respect the cat. TATER is going fill his forever home with many years of smiles and affection!

TATER will be microchipped and vaccinated as many times as age will allow when he arrives to his forever family.
His $450 adoption fee includes his interstate health certificate and cost of transport once adopted.

An adoption application for TATER can be found at the following link: http://wp.me/P73YMd-1h
Please email the completed application to kerri.woofriver@gmail.com. It typically takes us around 5 BUSINESS DAYS to process an application. We will reach out to you as soon as your application is processed.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
