My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mister is a male miniature Poodle, 2 years of age. He is a nice size, weighing 9 lbs fully grown. Mister has a super soft coat of white curls that are non-shedding. He is sporting a short haircut due his neglected condition when rescued. Mister was living on the streets of Los Angeles with a homeless woman. His left eye was badly infected with large corneal ulcers and could not be saved. He was surrendered to Hope for Paws so he could get medical care. After the surgery to remove his eye, he came to our rescue for foster care and help in finding Mister an adoptive family. Mister is a people dog and loves to be pampered. All he wants is to be near his foster family. His favorite thing is to cuddle next to a person especially if “belly rubs” are provided. He is very loyal and devoted, sticking by your side in public and wanting to ride right next to you in the car. Mister goes potty outside in the company of other small dogs. He gets along with other dogs, but he would prefer to not share his person with another dog. He will explore the yard a little bit with other dogs and is social, especially when he has his trusted humans close at hand. Mister would do best with an adoptive family that has time and desire to provide nurturing and lots of cuddle time. He is one of our most devoted and affectionate rescue dogs. Mister is now ready to meet his new, adoptive family.
