Meet Joy, a 1 year old Scottish Terrier Mix. Joy's name tells you almost everything you need to know about her! She is an always happy, friendly, inquisitive, and energetic pup! Joy is a very smart girl that enjoys spending her days doing doggie puzzles, working on basic training commands with her foster mom, chasing the laser pointer around the house, and she is always up to go for a walk or play in the back yard with her furry foster brother. Joy is a highly trainable dog, who's foster mom thinks she could one day be an amazing agility dog! She will sit and kennel up for treats, is house trained, and loves to run and play. She gets along well with other playful dogs and likes kids, but is still learning not to jump up on her human friends and can be a little rambunctious so a home with older children would be best. Her forever home would be one that does not have cats. Joy likes to sing the song of her people on occasion so would not be a fit for apartment life. Joy will benefit most from a home with a strong leader who will continue training with her, and one that is active and enjoys keeping this smart little girl busy!
Joy’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
