My name is Ziggy!

Collie/Labrador Retriever Mix Puppy for adoption in CUMMING, Georgia - Ziggy

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Ziggy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ziggy's Story...
Ziggy is going on two months waiting for his Hero Family. He is the most darling boy. Ziggy could use some help on a leash and basic puppy training, but the reward for this work will go miles. Ziggy is crate trained and almost potty trained so is quickly getting past the puppy stage. He is a fun little man and will provide a lifetime of happy memories. If you are interested in meeting Ziggy, please visit www.herorescue.org/adopt.

Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policies, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household. We do require that all of your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. We do not have a shelter, and are a foster-home based organization. Other than meeting our babies at events, we do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ziggy, a CUMMING Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in CUMMING, or seeking a Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in CUMMING.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in CUMMING already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a CUMMING breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in CUMMING paves the way for another one to be saved.
