My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Farfel's Rescue was notified by our compassionate rescuer in Kansas that a very cute and engaging Cavalier King Charles/Terrier puppy would be scheduled for euthanasia in just a few days. Although you can't see it in this photo, Jasmine is beautiful...with the softest and kindest eyes that just reach into your heart. The rescuer spoke of this 14 week old, 6 lb puppy (estimated to be about 10 - 12 lbs when full-grown) as a gift of love. She saw Jasmine as having the potential to be a wonderful and devoted companion for a family with gentle dog-loving kids - she was concerned that very young children would intimidate Jasmine with loud voices and less than gentle treatment. She also described Jasmine as a great friend to gentle canines...she would enjoy playing, walks together and hanging out at day's end.

We took a look at the sad eyes staring out of the shelter photo... and heard the reports of Jasmine's carefully wagging tail that speaks of a desire to trust and bond for life. We accepted Jasmine immediately into Farfel's Rescue.

Jasmine was removed from the shelter, vetted (perfectly healthy), puppy temperament-tested (passed with flying colors) and went home with her rescuer (who fell in love with her) who will introduce house skills and socialization while Jasmine waits for her transport to a new life in Colorado. We've committed to finding Jasmine a committed and very loving family who will enjoy her for her devotion, sweetness and strong desire to please. Once Jasmine becomes comfortable in her surroundings, she is a friend that will make you laugh at her antics and want to hold her tight just because she's so incredibly cute!

We would love to see Jasmine in a home where she becomes a true member of the family. Active retirees or individuals who work out of the home would be perfect for this sweet young girl. Jasmine, even though just a puppy, appears to have a calm side that loves nothing more than to settle into her person's lap and stay put with an occasional lick and a wag of delight at her good fortune. She is already starting to enjoy being outdoors in the sunshine and is portable enough to bring along on every dog-friendly adventure.

Jasmine has a gorgeous golden coat that will require a commitment to periodic grooming...she deserves a spa day with a sudsy bath and a thorough brushing. Great nutrition and care will keep Jasmine's beautiful coat cottony-soft and healthy.

Jasmine will be arriving on transport in Denver on Friday 2/10/17. If interested in this very sweet, loving and devoted best friend, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730.
