My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Snickers! After having been the only baby for 8 years, this adorable little Yorkshire Terrier found it difficult to adjust to a new arrival, and felt that the child had taken his place in the family. In addition, changing work and family responsibilities meant that Snickers was being left at home alone for increasingly longer periods of time. A much loved pet, Snickers’ family decided that placing him in Kiko’s care so that he could find the perfect home would be best for him. Friendly and outgoing, Snickers is a very spry 10 years young and acts like a dog half his age. He adapted to life at his foster home right away, is getting along great with the foster’s larger dog, and is also very compatible with the cat. Snickers’ ideal home would be with an adult couple or single looking for a calm and happy little 8-pound companion to cuddle with. He enjoys going for walks and is also a good traveler in the car. If you spend a fair bit of time at home and Snickers sounds like the new friend you’ve been looking for, please complete an adoption questionnaire at www.kikodogrescue.ca.
