Handsome, Handsome Boy!!!

Axel is an owner turn-in, is almost 3 years old, weighs around 7lbs.and is an absolute doll baby. He's had a dental, is up to date on shots and is ready for his furever home. He gets along with his foster mom's crew just fine & sleeps in the bed with everyone. He's very loving & sweet and seems to know some commands as he will stand by the open door and wait to be told 'Axel, come on.'

This precious baby is currently being fostered in Walterboro, SC.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Axel*Adopted, a Chattanooga Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
