Nirvana…”the state or place of great happiness and peace”. This little girl wears her name well, and that’s just what she will give you if you are the fortunate person who chooses to adopt her and bring her home. She is a very sweet girl who loves to be cuddled, petted and loved on. Nirvana turns on her little purr machine and rubs on your face just to let you know how happy she is to be with you. Like all of our babies Nirvana came from a high kill shelter, but she’s a very optimistic little girl and knows there’s a special family out there that is just looking for a wonderful kitty like she is. Nirvana is an active girl who gets along with the other cats and kittens she lives with and loves to roll around and chase them, and she also likes to play with her toys and the laser light. Black cats are usually some of the most loving cats there are, and Nirvana definitely proves that theory. Did you know that all black cats have some Siamese in them? They just wear different clothes. Please consider our little lovebug, Nirvana…you won’t regret it.

About Purr Partners Feline Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Purr Partners was incorporated in 2009, and we currently save and adopt out around 500 cats and kittens each year. We have no paid employees, and as volunteers, we do this because there is such an overwhelming need for rescue for cats and kittens in North Carolina, and because we care very much about the lives of these forgotten animals. We believe that every furry feline deserves a loving family, and try to make that happen. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, and offer their time and talents to help save lives. We are always looking for new volunteers!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have three adoption centers: Wake Forest Petsmart, Six Forks Petsmart, and Capital Crossings Petsmart. Our cats and kittens are at the Wake Forest and Six Forks Petsmart all the time, and at Capital Crossings 2 weeks out of the month. We have volunteers available to allow people to meet our rescues every Saturday from 11 - 3 and every Sunday from 12 - 4. We also arrange individual meets and greets when possible and at different times. We do require an approved application before these individual meetings will be set up. These meetings may be at Petsmart or the foster home of the cat or kitten.

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in possibly adopting, please go to our website and complete an application. This is not a commitment, but when we receive it, someone will contact you within 24 - 48 hours. The application is the first step in our process. Once you are approved, we can make arrangements for you to meet any of our cats or kittens. If you are not sure which one you might be interested in, we can help you narrow your search!
All our cats and kittens are tested, spayed or neutered, UTD on vaccinations, wormed, and microchipped before adoption.
