My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buster has had a very rough life. Living a life chained out doors, having no toys, treats, affection and not much food. He had only rocks to play with and eat. Because of this lifestyle his teeth are ground down to the gumline. HOWEVER, he can still eat dry food. Since his rescue he has made HUGE progress! Can you believe he used to be afraid of the dark!? Not anymore! He has learned what a dog bed is and what to do with his toys (for the most part) he loves treats and affection! He is undoubtedly the sweetest dog I have ever had the pleasure of knowing! He is great with other dogs of all sizes. Walks great on a leash! No pulling or barking at other people or dogs. He is wonderful with our 16 month old daughter. When we leave he is in a heavy duty crate with blankets. He will jump a four foot fence to explore. We remedied this with a heavy duty and long tie out. He was only going to visit our neighbors but we do live near a busy street. At night he sleeps in our room on a dog bed. He is house trained. No accidents in the crate either! He is up to date on all his shots. We absolutely love him and would make a great addition to any home! He is maybe 8 years old but has been playful like a puppy and even gallops and skips around (which is new!) If you would like to meet this dog please call Teri at 630-897-7454.
