Henry's Story...
Hi I’m Henry and I’m a Lab/Hound mix. I am an awesome dog. I am extremely fit and agile and love to go for jogs with my foster mommy (although sometimes I run under her and try to trip her. It’s a work in progress).

I have lots of energy and I love my humans. I would do anything to please them (especially if there is food or treats involved). I’m fine with cats, my foster mommy has 5 and I haven’t shown too much interest in them. I am a very loyal dog and I am looking for human who can give me lots of attention and snuggle me at night.

For the most part I have been good with other dogs, but I tend to get shy around dogs that I don’t know especially if they are full of energy. I enjoy being a single dog and would love an active family to take me for long hikes. I love to run, too. You should see how fast I can go.
I am fully potty and crate trained.

Are you ready to add me to your family? Go online to www.barktowndogrescue.org and complete an adoption application today!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Henry, a Roswell Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Roswell, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Roswell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roswell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roswell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roswell paves the way for another one to be saved.
