My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our new boy Comet is such a sweet heart! He is very shy at first, but warms up to you. He was soooo thin when he came to rescue, but is eating like a champ and gaining those much needed pounds. Sadly, being neglected and probably on his own for a while, he is heartworm positive. We have started the slow kill method on him and he is doing great! Comet is very gentle and would probably be fine with larger children, but because of his size he might not be OK around really small ones. He did not seem very interested in Moses, the office cat at the vet's office, so he might be OK with cats.

Neutered Male
3-5 yrs
Will be around 90 lbs
House trained
Good with other dogs and people but shy
Might be ok with cats
Heart worm negative
Current on shots
Micro chipped

Comet uses a pet door to go in and out of his own room he shares with his friend, and was fine being in a kennel at the vet. This poor guy has had a rough life, but things are looking up for him now.
