Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Missy is an 11 year old Pointer/Mix. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines. She tested positive for heart worm and has been on heart worm treatment since November 28, 2016. She takes one tablet of Tri Heart Plus per month until she tests negative (this can take from 4 to 16 months) and then she can take regular monthly heart worm preventative for the rest of her life.
Missy is very sweet and lovable. She gets along with five other dogs in her foster home. She prefers to have her own doggie bed and likes to frequent her own crate which also has a comfy bed in it. She is in great health at her age and still loves to be playful and frolic around with the other dogs. It is not uncommon for Missy to want to cuddle up beside her foster mom and enjoy warm loving company. She also has excellent house manners.
She was surrendered to the local shelter after her owners moved to North Dakota.
Her previous owner states she gets along great with other dogs, cats, and kids. There are no cats or kids in the current foster home. Because Missy is a senior dog younger children are not recommended for her.
She is spayed and UTD on all vaccinations. She is microchipped and heart worm negative. She is on a heartworm and flea preventative.
