Pablo's Story...
My name is Pablo! I’m a goofy, young guy, who enjoys going for walks, playing outside, and hanging out with my volunteer friends. I am deaf, but still very trainable! I already know “sit,” and “come,” using hand signals, and my adoption will include four free private training sessions, with a trainer experienced in working with deaf dogs, to help us start off with a solid relationship! I seem social around other dogs, and might be open to living with one, after a proper introduction. Because of my large size and special needs, the shelter feels I am best suited for a home with older kids or teens. I'm a male, tan and white Pit Bull type, possibly mixed with Mastiff. I'm approximately 2 years old, and I currently weigh 65 lbs. I arrived at the shelter on 1/30/17 as a stray from Livermore, and have been available for adoption since 2/4/17. I have been vaccinated and dewormed, and am already neutered and microchipped. I am located in kennel A-1.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pablo, a Dublin Pit Bull Terrier/Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Mastiff for sale in Dublin, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Mastiff dog from a breeder in Dublin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dublin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dublin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Mastiff breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dublin paves the way for another one to be saved.
