Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Domestic Short Hair - Torbie; Female; 8 years; 19 ½ pounds
Brownie had been living at a senior living facility until recently. This sweet, loving girl had been shown quite a bit of love through food. Brownie is a small cat at heart, and we’re working on getting her back to her true self. Brownie is on a weight loss plan, and she is already looking better! This is one social cat, and she would love to be in a home where she can enjoy the companionship of a family who will show her love through play time and pets (not food). We think that Brownie might do well with gentle children. We are not sure how she feels about other animals, but she may prefer to be an only “child” because she has been a single, spoiled cat for a while now. Brownie was declawed by a previous owner, so she will need an indoor home. Brownie is staying with a wonderful volunteer in a Foster home until she finds her forever home. If you would like more information about Brownie and our adoption process, please call the shelter at (760) 753-6413.
Business hours are Wednesday – Monday; 11 am to 5 pm. Closed Tuesdays.
