My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Juniper was rescued from a local kill shelter where he had been brought in as a stray. He had a wonderful personality and the shelter staff contacted Furry Friends to see if they had room for him and they picked him up when his stray hold was up. However, this was just enough time to catch the wicked virus that was going through the shelter and poor Juniper became very ill. For about a week he was given fluids and forcefed and finally he turned a corner and is still on the mend from this illness. He lost weight that he didn't have to lose so needs to put on some pounds, but he's doing his part with his appetite restored. Juniper is a lovely cat! He is a primo lap kitty and spends every evening on top of his foster mom or dad watching TV. He gets along great with dogs, cats and kids. Juniper is handsome as they come, but best of all is his awesome social personality. In true Siamese fashion, he's a bit of a talker but not over the top - only when he has something important to say. Juniper has been through a lot. All he needs now is a forever home with a lap to lounge on. How about yours??!!

NOTE: Juniper was adopted and returned two months later for tormenting the female cat in the household. He chased her and when she ran and squealed, it was all the more fun. He got along fine with the adult male in the home and he gets along with the cats in his foster home. The family that adopted him said he was awesome with them and whenever anyone came to the house (they were youth pastors and frequently had kids around), he was just like a dog. They said he would go around and check everyone out. They also said he is very playful and a home with a buddy he can play with would be a bonus. Another nice thing to learn, he never tried to get out the door when kids were going in and out. His original bio still applies, but please recognize that he is young and playful and might be too much for an older cat or one that doesn't like to play, as was the case with the female cat in the home that returned him.
