My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB June 18, 2016.

Silas is a very unique cat with a wonderful personality and a few quirks! His smartness can get him into trouble, and he'd benefit from a family who can stay one step ahead of him! For example, Silas loves to see what's on the stove, and quite enjoys running across it, even when it's hot, this has led to him having accidents! The family that adopts Silas will need to make sure they are able to keep him safe by removing him from situations where he can come to harm. His foster family has to put him in another room with the door closed every time they cook. He is also a climber, and will scale Christmas trees and windows, eventually sharing his sweet meow which means "rescue me".

Silas also has an incredible appreciation for fine food, and can open bags to get into it, as well as makes a beeline for drinks, including wine! This means his forever family needs to make sure his love of all things culinary is kept in check! While a grilled steak can be enjoyed by Mr Silas, a glass of wine, not so much!

Silas in on a special gastrointestinal diet due to suspected allergies.

While he's affectionally referred to as "Mr. Trouble" by his foster family, the truth is, he is adored and very special. He plays catch and fetch - bringing a ball back to your lap several times a day to play a game (or 10). He's highly trainable and intelligent (it is suspected he is part Siamese) and is a cat who while friendly to all, has a keen attachment to his main caregiver. It's rare he isn't in the same room as "his person" and even runs up the stairs to get his place on their bed when he knows the bedtime routine has started. He even graces his "special person " with his presence while they shower, otherwise he sits at the door and cries! His adopter will gain a very best friend in Silas; a loyal, smart, cuddly, happy boy who just needs help to stay safe and well and make sure his curiosity doesn't take all his nine lives!
