Gunny's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, declawed, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Gunny's Story...
Gunny, is a female Maine Coon mix and she's approximately 10yrs old. She was having a bit of a mid-life crisis and decided to go out on an adventure. This sweet gal ended up at the shelter covered in fleas and missing some hair. Not exactly what she was hoping to find! She's a little shy, a little picky about food (no worries - she prefers the cheap stuff), a little bald (for now), but she makes up for it with her snuggles and big paws. She is polydactyl! She doesn't mind other cats and calm dogs. She has been previously declawed. Can you be everything she hoped to find?!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gunny, a Wichita Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Wichita, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Wichita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wichita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wichita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wichita paves the way for another one to be saved.
