My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dexter is a gorgeous brindle boy who is only about 8 months old. Unfortunately, he had a rough start to life and spent his puppy months tied up in someone's backyard. Thankfully, he is safe now but still in need of a foster or adopter! He has a ton of puppy energy and is very eager to learn but needs someone to teach him! He would do great with a fenced in yard or someone who is very active. He doesn't seem to be comfortable with other dogs as he missed out on the very formative months of his puppy hood that he would have been socialized however he doesn't seem to mind cats and is quite playful with them. Because he has some anxious energy, we would recommend a structured environment without small children (12 and up would likely be fine). He thrives in an environment with boundaries and a routine.
