Polka Dot's Info...

Polka Dot's Story...

Those ears though! Polka Dot was discarded at the shelter just a day before Christmas. And ever since, this gal has been patiently waiting for someone to scoop her up and take her away from the scary shelter. Polka Dot is our newest Lovebug and we couldn't have saved her without a foster home stepping up. She is a 7 lb, 3 year old Chihuahua mix with the most adorable ears. Polka Dot does well with other dogs and cats and is on the easy going side. She is integrating into her foster homes routine and is one step closer to finding her forever home. Could that be you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Polka Dot, a Irvine Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
