My owner is moving out of state and can’t take me with her.  This is hard on both of us but if someone will give me some time to relax, they’ll see that I’m a sweet girl.  I use my litter box faithfully and have always been an indoor kitty even though I am microchipped.  When I decide you are my person, I will sit and stare into your eyes lovingly until you give in and pet me.  I still like to play even though I might not be a kitten any longer!  I have not been around children but older ones who are calm would probably be okay.  I don’t have any experience with dogs so a dog free household might be best but I used to have a kitty housemate and we got along fine.  If you are interested in meeting me and have some time to let me adjust, you will find I’m a great snuggle partner! I am 12 years old and tested negative for feline leukemia.

About Second Chance Companions

About Our Rescue Group...

Founded in 1993, Second Chance Companions is a 501(c) 3 non-profit pet organization dedicated to helping animals in SW Washington and the Portland Metro area.

We are a humane, no-kill organization staffed entirely by dedicated volunteers.

Although we do not run an independent shelter, we feed, care for, adopt out, and spay & neuter as many animals as possible. In addition, we educate the community and are always seeking volunteers and resources that help us to accomplish our mission.

We have a small number of foster homes available, but also work with private owners who keep their pets while looking for homes for them.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have cats available for adoption all the time at the Vancouver Plaza and Gresham Petsmarts.

We also have adoption events most every weekend and often during the week too. See all of our currently scheduled events at: http://www.sccpets.com/pages/events.html
