Camper's Story...
This sweet little guy is Camper and he is some type of Wirehaired Terrier mix possibly with a Beagle who was born around November of 2015. He is about 30 pounds of sweet, lovable pup.

Camper is super gentle and loving, he is such a calm dog for as young as he is. He really loves to cuddle and snuggle with his people. He is good with other dogs and completely ignores cats. Camper is very good with children and just an all around sweet boy.

He would really do best with a fenced in yard.

Adoption fee $250, apply to adopt at causeforcanines.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Camper, a Columbus Wirehaired Fox Terrier/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wirehaired Fox Terrier/Beagle for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Wirehaired Fox Terrier/Beagle dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wirehaired Fox Terrier/Beagle breeders who help with Wirehaired Fox Terrier/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
