Athena's Story...
Athena is a 14 mos old great Pyrenees's/Anatolian x spayed female. She is currently on medical hold for an injury & will require surgery to repair a fracture. She is true to a livestock guardians nature. She is good with well behaved children, horses, cats and her dog playmates at rescue. She enjoys the great outdoors, loves walks, and playing with toys. She is getting comfortable riding in a car. She loves being actively engaged with her family. Athena uses a doggie door. She is still a little puppy-ish so will need some guidance and training.

To meet Athena, please call 480-471-3520.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Athena, a Scottsdale Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
