Texas Service Dogs a 501 (c) (3) non profit organization raises, trains, and places individually task-trained service dogs with adults and children with physical or psychiatric disabilities nationwide.
Texas Service Dogs (TXSD) is dedicated to educating the public about service dogs and the state and federal laws pertaining to them; placing high quality task-trained service dogs to increase safety, welfare, and independence for adults and children with psychiatric and physical disabilities; encouraging and assisting with animal rescue and force-free and humane training methods to enrich the human-animal bond.
As not all candidates make it to become a service dog, we find loving forever homes for our released dogs which you will find here.
Our Adoption Process...
We require an adoption fee, house check, veterinary and personal references, and we allow a sleep over trial period before adoption.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
