The first step for Pet Rescue Solutions' adoption process is filling out our cat application at this link http://www.petrescuesolutions.org/adoption-application/ Next, we would review your application, along with others if any. Our main goal is to find the home best fitted for our pets available for adoption, we will contact you through email to explain further details, so please remember to add your email. We do ask for a donation/adoption fee of $100 for kittens under 1 year and adult cats $75s. This fee covers spay/neutering, all vaccines, microchip, and any extra medical expenses. We also have some final paperwork the day of adoption along with a pet ID tag with your information. Finally, we provide an adoption kit to start the beginning of a journey with your new best friend, and an adoption picture to record our rescue pet's happiest day.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Agora, a South El Monte American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in South El Monte, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in South El Monte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South El Monte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South El Monte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South El Monte paves the way for another one to be saved.
