Meet Blue - a sweet, playful fella who is in need of a family to cherish him! He is smart, eager to learn, and would love to have a canine friend to play with. He's currently in a foster home with three other dogs (ranging in size from yorkie to Great Dane) and loves to play. A home with a fenced yard where he can safely run and frolic would be best. He is great with kids but needs regular exercise so that he isn't too rambunctious. We aren't sure how he would get along with cats as he's never lived with one.
Blue (originally named Sherlock) was adopted as a young puppy in April 2016 but was returned nine months later as the family did not have a fenced yard for him to romp in. They kept him crated for long spans, and when he was released he understandably had lots of pent up energy. Blue's foster parents adore him! He simply needed proper exercise.
He is crate trained and has nice house manners, he even knows to ring a bell to let the humans know he needs to go out.
Blue has been vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. The adoption donation is $165.
If you are interested in making this fella a permanent part of your family, please complete an adoption application via our website, www.cofas.org.
**PLEASE NOTE THAT COMPLETING THE APPLICATION IS THE FIRST STEP AND MUST BE DONE BEFORE A MEETING CAN BE SET UP. Adopting is a commitment for the natural life of the dog.
If you have questions not answered in the info above, please email me at fostermomjudy@gmail.com. Blue's foster home is located in Monroe, GA.
