Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Stevie Ray was surrendered to our vets office and they asked if we could take him into our foster program. Our vet said that Stevie Ray had the WORST flea infestation he had even seen in his entire career! Thankfully, all those fleas are now gone and Stevie Ray feels great. Stevie Ray is around 8 years old and weighs about 8 pounds. His DNA would probably be crazy mixed if we checked it... he prances rather than walks (horse DNA), head butts his food bowl (bull DNA), and likes to turn around in circles and paw at his bed until he finds the perfect spot (cat DNA). He is definitely a unique fellow! Stevie Ray is not a cuddle bug and doesn't play with other dogs or toys... he is very independent. However, he loves to be brushed and likes to be petted (but not held). His favorite activity is going for walks...in the rain! Stevie Ray has some hearing loss (although we are pretty sure most of it is selective hearing...just like a child!).
If you are interested in adding Stevie Ray to your family, please go to www.goofyfootrescue.org to complete an online adoption application. He is currently being fostered in west Tennessee. He will be transported once his adoption is finalized. Transport runs to the following cities: Harrisonburg, VA; Hagerstown, MD; Harrisburg, PA; Allentown, PA; Bedminster, NJ; Southington, CT; Willington, CT.
