Hi, everyone! My name is Wendell and I am a happy, sweet, playful, ~1.5 yrs. old, Boxer/ American Bulldog or Mastiff mix. Rescue Ridge stepped up to save me from a small, overcrowded, New Jersey shelter and I am now here in central N. J. waiting for someone to love me forever. Will you? I love attention, especially when you pet me, and take treats very gently, like a good boy! I really enjoy playing in the kennel play yard and even like other dogs there . I like watching them walk around and also play with them in the play yard. UPDATE: Recently Wendell was actually a HERO! He was in a temporary foster home and his foster mom and he were in a car when suddenly this lady was running through the streets trying to catch her lost dog. The foster mom got out of her car and used Wendell as an attraction to help the lady get her lost dog back! Well... Foster mom and Wendell (on leash) went running through the woods and the lost dog came running up to Wendell and the foster mom was able to grab the lost dog, thanks to Wendell. How's THAT for a great dog! Also, Wendell played with one of the 6 mos. old foster puppies at his temporary foster home and was very good with her. Wendell is neutered, up to date on vaccination and ready to go home! Please apply to adopt our hero at: rescueridge.com and text: 732 546 8805 or email: email@example.com for a meet and greet.
