Yoda's Story...
COURTESY POST!!!!! (Not in our rescue)

Hi there, my name is Yoda and I am a Pointer/Pit bull mix around 1 year old. I'm sure you can see from my ears where I got my name. I was found wandering the streets and was picked up by a family, but they have 2 very small dogs and with me being bigger and a puppy, they thought it was too much. So, here I sit in boarding. Everyone here is taking such great care of me, giving me lots of love and continuing my training but, it's not a home. I'm a little over a year old and I have great listening skills, including knowing how to sit, lay down, stay and come. I'm also fully vetted, and neutered. I can't get enough of seeing people, I love everyone and am very playful. I would make an awesome exercise partner and at the same time snuggler. I personally would like to be an only dog or, be partnered with a dog that is happy go lucky. You see I'm afraid of dogs that are bossy and aggressive towards me and it totally stresses me out.

Please think about meeting me or share my name and picture with friends and family. Please contact Amber at 815-685-5554

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yoda, a Romeoville Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Romeoville, or seeking a Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Romeoville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Romeoville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Romeoville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Romeoville paves the way for another one to be saved.
