Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Love me tender…
Love me sweet and I’ll purr for you!
Zoey is one of the most gentle and affectionate cats we have ever met. She simply adores pets and immediately melts when you touch her, rolling and purring up a storm.
This is not Zoey’s first encounter with PAWS. She originally came to us as a kitten back in 2011. Her owner recently relinquished her because she was moving. Some cats would be upset at the abrupt change in their circumstances, but Zoey has handled the shift to life at the shelter with grace and dignity.
She looks at everyone as a friend and contrary to the stereotypical labels applied to Tortoiseshell cats, Zoey has not shown one lick of tortitude. Proving that you cannot always judge a book by its cover or in this case a cat by its coat.
Zoey has so much to offer a human companion, but is afraid of dogs and children. She has also lived with another cat and so could make your resident feline a loving companion. Are you the one to make her life complete? Come in and meet Zoey to see how purrfect she is!
You can meet Zoey at the Coronado Animal Care Facility. The facility is open daily between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm (except major holidays). It is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.
If you are interested in adopting Zoey, you must first complete a Cat Adoption Application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor. Cat adoption applications are available at the facility or Cat Adoption Applications may be completed online.
If you have any questions, please call Bob at 619-840-9727.
