Hootie and Howie were adopted out as youngsters in 2009. They've had the best home as indoor/outdoor cats. Unfortunately, they are about to lose their home and are in urgent need of placement. This is what the current owner writes:
I am writing to you as we need to put our wonderful babies up for adoption and wanted to know if you could help facilitate that for us. We adopted Hootie & Howie from you back in 2010 and they were almost a year old at the time; so we estimated their birthdays as July 4, 2009. So they are just a little over 7 years old.
We are moving out of the area and into an apartment. So we are currently trying to find good homes for these sweet, lovable guys. They are possibly the sweetest two male cats you will ever find. They love attention, laying in your lap, nuzzling with you and together and just unbelievable friendly. We have dogs too and they get along great with the dogs.
They are inside/outside cats (mostly inside in the winter) and stay close to home at all times. We are looking around and asking friends to keep their eyes and ears open, but no luck so far.
Please help to get Hootie and Howie into a loving home. We'll be glad to put you in touch with the current owner and provide additional photos of the brothers.
