Pearl is a female, domestic short hair, solid black cat. She is approximately 13 years old (born in mid-2004) and currently weighs 5 ½ pounds.

Pearl has spent the majority of her life as an indoor/outdoor cat.  In the past year, we moved our residence from a 4-bedroom home with land to a 2-bedroom apartment where we are required to keep her indoors.  She is not at all content to be indoors exclusively.  Therefore, we are seeking a compassionate individual or family who will adopt her into a home where she can be allowed outdoors again.  She is a very affectionate cat, who will accept attention from anyone who offers it to her.  More than anything, however, she wants to be allowed outdoors.  Please contact us using the information shown above.

About Brother Wolf Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Brother Wolf Animal Rescue is known for their excellence in matching people with the best dog or cat that would suit their lifestyle. Today we are proud to have the largest NO-KILL shelter in Asheville. Brother Wolf Animal Rescue was established in 2006. We started off as a very small group of people, taking dogs and cats from gassing shelters in GA. We found wonderful homes for these animals but realized while we were saving these particular animals, we had a much bigger problem in our community that we needed to face. Perfectly healthy, highly adoptable animals in our community are being euthanized every day. Rescued pets are not broken or damaged goods. They are wonderful animals who have ended up homeless through no fault of their own.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our facility is located at 31 Glendale Avenue in Asheville, off Swannanoa River Rd, 1/2 mile from Lowe's. Open every day.

Our Adoption Process...

All adoptions will require a contract and discussions with one of our adoption counselors. Based on the needs of the particular animal, we reserve the right to require a home visit at the discretion of the adoption counselor. All our animals will be altered before adoption and up-to-date on standard vaccinations. We do collect an adoption fee.
