Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ben is a big mush ball of a pup and he's just waiting for you to take him home! Ben is around 60lbs, AND IS SO STRESSED IN THE SHELTER THAT HE IS STARVING. He needs an experienced adopter. Why? He walks beautiful on a leash and takes correction well. He is very reactive to other animals, so he needs continued training (tiny bit each day) and exposure to other animals on walks. He cannot be corrected, and he looks to you for that direction, if he doesn't see them. He would do best with children over age 12 due to his size and also a fenced yard. He's very clean in his kennel, house trained, knows commands (sit, paw, down, come) and adores his belly rubbed. He is not a fan of the car.
Big Ben hails from Stonington Animal Control and sadly was there for five months until coming to us recently. He's super intelligent and can even open doors! If you get locked out, Ben to the rescue! To meet him, please send in an application and we will contact you to set up a visit.
