Oh Thanks goodness you’ve found me! My life before you was so hard! I had to live outside and I got frostbite on my paws, Ouch. That’s all over now! Hello Friends! I’m Caleb. I had a rough start but now life is warm beds, hugs, and a second chance. I am not going to waste that chance. I have a great foster family now. They let me lay by the fireplace to stay warm. I have a foster brother named Sheldon. He is the best. We wrestle a bunch. He even lets be pounce on him. Sheldon is teaching me how to play tugger and sharing. I really like to throw tennis balls around and dig through the toybox. Even though my foster family is great, I know that I deserve a family of my own. I like all people and dogs. I don’t mind cats but they aren’t so sure about me. I think its my looks. I’m just too handsome. Guess what? Besides being so handsome I am super responsible and I go potty outside ALL OF THE TIME. I’m that great. Do you have a warm place I can snuggle up to?

Caleb is estimated to be 1 year old and 52 lbs. Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom and dad are!), we are just guessing on breed.

All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They have all had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer, are treated for fleas, have a heartworm test if over 6 months old and are up to date on a heartworm preventative.

Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 60 mile radius of Minneapolis.If you are interested in meeting this dog please fill out the pre-adoption application on our website at http://www.safehandsrescue.org under Adopt and we will get back to you to arrange a meeting in the foster home.
