Jessa's Info...

Jessa's Story...
Momma Jessa is finally ready to find a forever home of her own. She came to us very pregnant after her and her sister had to be rescued from a culvert. About a week after coming into our care Jessa blessed us with NINE beautiful babies!! All of her babies have found homes of their own and now it's Mommas turn. She's a sweet old souls who is very calm and loving. She's doing well with house training and is kenneled while no one is home. She walks well on a leash and rides well in a car. She's great with dogs and children. We believe she's a lab/black mouth cure mix. She's around 2-3 years old and 45 lbs. She has been around cats very little but didn't seem to react. She's utd, hw tested and spayed.

All dogs have a $150 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jessa, a Grand Bay Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur for sale in Grand Bay, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur dog from a breeder in Grand Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
