Foxy Brown was abandoned in May 2007 with the following note from the person who dumped her.
"I have M.S. and have to move to a facility for the disabled, no pets allowed. She will be 8 years old in Sept. [...] I've had animals since I was born. They were always like family. I'm 65, an orphan, and all my close friends are deceased. Please find it in your heart to take care of her."
Foxy has not had an easy time of it. She was missing most of her teeth when she arrived here. In 2010, Tree House vets removed a tumor from her mammary glands. Through it all, she persevered. She originally came to our shelter a shy girl, but she has really blossomed into a trusting, personable cat. She loves human attention, though she can get a bit nipsy if she feels overstimulated. She is loner among other cats and could live with or without them.
